When you say the quiet part out loud, UAW will drag you in front of the NLRB for an unfair labor practice violation. Good.
THIS IS AN AI GENERATED IMAGE. It's not art. It's a prompt using other artists' stolen work.
Absolutely shameful to see this on the radar.
And if the AI weren't bad enough, this "artist" is purposefully exploiting tags like "black girl magic" and "melanin" to make their stolen imagery seem morally ok. Meanwhile, there are hundreds of Black artists and Black women artists making REAL art and sharing it on this website whose work could have been on the radar instead.
Also their have a badge claiming they are open for commissions! So they are scamming folks!
I saw this in the sidebar and my AI detector immediately started buzzing, so I tested it on Hive Moderation (click, then scroll up to do it on the site).
Like the other commenters, I don't think tumblr should feature this kind of thing. It's great that you use the side-bar to draw attention to artists! But let's focus on the thousands of underappreciated people who are creating original artworks, not people who try to basically scam others by not declaring that their work is AI and then doing "commissions" (meaning... you tell them what kind of picture you want and they copy-paste that into Midjourney..?)
my favorite thing about the mystery genre is that we all accept the concept of "world famous detective" without hesitation even though that is absolutely not a real category of celebrity
